Dr. Masaki Ishida has been serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at Mie University Graduate School/Faculty of Medicine since 2020. He holds extensive experience in clinical radiology, academic leadership, and advanced imaging research.
Dr. Ishida's career spans over two decades, beginning in 1999 as a Resident in Radiology at Matsusaka Central Hospital in Matsusaka, Mie, Japan. He later completed a fellowship at Mie University Hospital (2001–2004) and progressed to become a Staff Radiologist (2006–2009). During his career, Dr. Ishida has held key positions, including Chief Radiologist at Suzuka Central Hospital (2011–2012) and various academic roles at Mie University Hospital, such as Clinical Assistant Professor (2012–2013), Assistant Professor (2013–2019), and Lecturer (2019–2020). His international experience includes serving as a Clinical Research Fellow in the Division of Imaging Sciences at St. Thomas’ Hospital, King’s College London, UK, from 2009 to 2011.
