Behzad Sharif, PhD

Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering
Purdue University

Behzad Sharif is the Marta E. Gross Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University. He holds a joint appointment at the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering in West Lafayette and Indianapolis, and the Elmore Family School of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Purdue. He concurrently directs the Cardiovascular Imaging Research Core in the Department of Radiology & Imaging Sciences at Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis. His research lab focuses on developing and validating translational cardiovascular MRI techniques, including improved approaches for assessing coronary microcirculation and heart failure.
