Laura J Olivieri, MD is a board-certified Pediatric Cardiologist and Director of Noninvasive Cardiac Imaging at Children's Hospital Pittsburgh. She is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at University of Pittsburgh.She is considered a leader in the field of 3-dimensional reconstruction of congenital heart defects from 3D imaging. She is most interested in improving image acquisition in babies and children using MRI and echocardiography, and supports use of those images to create 3D heart models, compiling a successful grant portfolio to that end.
