Kenan Stern, MD is Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Radiology in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the Director of Non-Invasive Imaging and the Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship at the Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Heart Center. He has clinical expertise in the care of the fetus, child and young adult with heart disease, as well as specialty skills in echocardiography, fetal echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. He was awarded his medical degree summa cum laude from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Stern completed his residency at the Boston Combined Residency Program in Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center. He went on to complete his pediatric cardiology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital, where he served as chief fellow, and remained at Boston Children’s Hospital for a senior fellowship in echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. Prior to joining Mount Sinai in 2017, he was the Director of the John H. Gutfreund Fetal Heart Program at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore.
