Bio
Dr. Cristina Fuss is a Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging and Division Chief for Cardiothoracic Imaging in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, CT. She attended medical school in Heidelberg, Germany, is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and fellowship trained in cardiothoracic imaging. Before joining Yale, Dr. Fuss was faculty at OHSU in Portland, OR, serving as section chief of cardiothoracic imaging since 2015, a position she held until June 2023. Dr. Fuss is a member of multiple national and international professional societies and serves on the Executive Board of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. She is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Computed Tomography and Radiology: Cardiothoracic Imaging, assistant editor for Radiology and serves as reviewer for multiple radiological journals. Her main interest is in familial aortopathies, complex valve disease and congenital heart disease as well as the special challenges and needs of women physicians and other underrepresented minorities in cardiothoracic imaging.
