Kana Fujikura, MD, PhD is an attending cardiologist at NYU Langone Health and Clinical Associate Professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She specializes in multimodality cardiovascular imaging including echocardiography, cardiovascular MRI, and cardiac CT. Dr. Fujikura is strongly interested in a multimodality approach to the evaluation of valvular heart disease, as there are modality-specific advantages and technical limitations in all the modalities. Dr. Fujikura provides a multimodality approach in evaluating complex heart diseases to provide the best care for patients.
Dr. Fujikura holds Fellow status of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR), and the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE).
