Prof Zhong Liang is Clinician-Innovator Senior Investigator, Founding Director of College of Healthcare Engineering, Director of Cardiovascular Engineering and Innovation Theme and co-director of Cardiovascular System Imaging and Artificial Intelligence (CVS.AI) Lab at National Heart Centre Singapore and Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore. His research focuses on cardiovascular imaging and AI, cardiovascular mechanics and physiology, multiscale computational modeling, and metabolomics research. Dr. Liang has published over 190 peer-reviewed papers and holds 10 patents. He also serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (JCMR), Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (JMRI), and Medical & Biological Engineering & Computing (MBEC). He is Principal Investigator of INITIATE project to study cardiac blood flow using 4D flow MRI and its association with exercise capacity in a prospective paediatric and adult congenital heart disease (https://classic.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT03217240).
