Dr. Tunks completed pediatric cardiology fellowship and advanced imaging training at Duke (Durham, North Carolina USA). From an imaging standpoint, he has expertise in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, as well as transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, fetal echocardiography. A faculty member at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center since 2014, Dr. Tunks cares for children of all ages, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He has a particular interest in the advancement of noninvasive imaging techniques to help care for patients with congenital or acquired heart disease. He currently serves as director of noninvasive imaging and director of the pediatric cardiology fellowship program at Penn State.
