Madhavi Kadiyala, MD

Director, Cardiac MRI&CT; Associate Program Director, Cardiac Imaging Fellowship

Dr. Madhavi (Maud-vee) Kadiyala is a cardiovascular imager, clinician, educator, and researcher with nearly two decades of expertise in multimodality cardiac imaging with expertise in cardiac CT , cardiac MRI, and echocardiography. Dr. Kadiyala holds Level III certifications in these modalities, and her extensive experience spans clinical practice, advanced imaging training, and academic leadership.

She currently serves as the Director of Cardiac MRI and CT at Tufts Medical Center. Previously she directed the multimodality imaging fellowship program at West Virginia University (2019-2022) and was the assistant director of Cardiac CT and MRI at Saint Francis Hospital in Long Island, NY (2008 to 2019).

Her current focus is on the effective use of cardiac CT and cardiac MRI for precision diagnosis and improving access to the technologies. Her research interests are in early detection of coronary artery disease, coronary physiology and non-obstructive coronary artery disease (INOCA). Her prior research focused on the applications of stress perfusion imaging using cardiac MRI .
