Ryan Avery, MD

Ryan Avery, MD is an Associate Professor of Radiology of Norhtwestern University, where he is the Chief of Nuclear Medicine at Northwestern University. He is also a member of the sections of Cardiovascular Imaging and Nuclear Cardiology. He has an interest and research background in analysis of noninvasive myocardial perfusion imaging for quantificaiton of ventriculary myocardial blood flow. He has a backgound in the study noninvasive imaging assessment of right ventricular failure and treatments strategies of pulmonary hypertension, and has currently driven for increasing the utilization of noninvasive imaging for assessment of cardiac sarcoidosis and amyloidosis.
