Frandics Chan is an associate professor of Radiology in the Cardiovascular Imaging (CVI) Division at Stanford University. He is currently the director of cardiac MRI at Stanford University Medical Center, the director of cardiovascular imaging at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital (LPCH), and fellowship director in CVI. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering studying organ perfusion with MRI. He is an expert in the imaging of congenital heart disease and is a faculty of the Heart Center in LPCH. His research interests include augmented reality and 3D-printing for cardiac surgical planning and for intraoperative guidance.
