Dr Steeds is a Consultant Cardiologist at University Hospitals in Birmingham, specialising in diagnostic cardiovascular imaging and in the management of valvular heart disease. He is the current President of the British Society of Echocardiography and is lead Cardiologist in CMR. He is Honorary Reader at the Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences, University of Birmingham, and has published more than 200 peer-reviewed research articles focussing on early stage cardio-renal disease and valvular heart disease.
