Assistant Professor
University of Chicago
I am a board certified cardiologist with expertise in advanced cardiac imaging including cardiac magnetic resonance, echocardiography, and cardiovascular CT. I completed my medical school training at the University of Illinois Chicago. I later received my residency training at the University of Michigan, my general cardiology fellowship at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, and my advanced imaging training at University of Chicago where I currently serve as an assistant professor within the cardiac imaging faculty. My research is primarily focused on applications of cardiac imaging—namely cardiovascular magnetic resonance and echocardiography—to improve the diagnosis and evaluation of heart failure and cardiomyopathies. I am particularly interested in cardiac amyloidosis where I have researched to improve the CMR and echocardiographic detection and differentiation of cardiac amyloidosis and its subtypes.
