Dr Reza Hajhosseiny is a Consultant Cardiologist and Consultant in Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at the Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and King’s College London. His expertise lies in advanced multimodality imaging of the heart using cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence-enabled techniques in Cardiovascular MRI, Cardiovascular CT and Echocardiography.
Dr Hajhosseiny has over 15 years of academic research experience at Imperial College London and King's College London, with a specialist interest in the non-invasive assessment of coronary artery disease and atherosclerosis using Cardiac MRI and CT. Dr Hajhosseiny’s doctoral research (funded by competitive academic funding awards from the British Heart Foundation, National Institute for Health Research, and Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council) pioneered free-breathing 3D whole-heart coronary magnetic resonance angiography, coronary plaque imaging and multi-parametric myocardial tissue characterisation.
