Radiologic Technologist
Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research, United Kingdom
I am a radiologic technologist working as senior cardiac reserach MRI radiographer in Oxford centre of magnetic resonance imaging, University of Oxford.
I have completed my Masters degree in Clinical research and Advanced clinical quntitative reserch methods from King's Collage London with a distinction in Adv. quantitative methods and Masters Thesis. My Masters dissertion was on assessing pulmonary perfusion defects in chronic pulmonary hypertention ( CTEPH using Multi-slice simulraneous free breathing pulmonary perfusion MRI technique. I am a staunch advocate of Technologists' academic growth and support Technologists' community to become leaders in their field of work. I have recently been awarded a NIHR Pre-doctoral fellowship to find novel imaging markers to detect disease predicting markers in familial hypertropic cardiomyopathy (HCM) before the onset of phenotype. I am particulary interested in using cardiac diffusion tensor imaging (DTCMR) and Blood Oxygen Level Dependent ( BOLD) techniques in my pre-doctoral fellowship.
I am aiming to pursue my Phd and become a leader in my area of research.
