Niti R. Aggarwal finished her residency and cardiology fellowship at Mayo Clinic- Rochester. She was then selected to pursue 3 additional years of advanced cardiac Imaging allowing her to graduate with Level III training in cardiac CT, MRI, Echocardiography and Nuclear cardiology. Currently she practices at the Mayo Clinic.
She is academically quite productive with multiple peer reviewed manucripts and presentations. She is currently working on editing a book on "sex differences in heart disease". She is quite active on social media (Twitter) and serves as the social media editor for Journal of Nuclear Cardiolgy. In addition, she served on the program committee for American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC) in 2019 and 2020, and helped launch their social media campaign.She is also on the Board of Directors for ASNC.
She is the incoming chair of the Women in CMR section, and has selflessly devoted herself to serving SCMR on multiple committees. She is looking forward to the annual meeting, and seeing the impact of her year long efforts come to fruition.
