Anna Giulia Pavon is a multimodality imaging cardiologist skilled in clinical cardiology, transthoracic and 3D transesophageal echocardiography, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI (EACVI level 3 certification). SCMR SoMe committee member since 2021 and EACVI Heart Imagers of Tomorrow member since 2023. She graduate in Medicine at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, Italy where she also completed the residency program in Cardiovascular Disease in 2018. From 2018 to 2021 she served as consultant cardiologist in the “Centre pour la Resonance Magnetique Cardiaque” in Lausanne (Switzerland) under the supervision of Prof. J. Schwitter. Since 2021 she is working as senior consultant cardiologist in the Cardiovascular Imaging Laboratory of Istituto Cardiocentro Ticino, EOC, Lugano (Switzerland) and as tutor for medical students at Università della Svizzera Italiana, Lugano (Switzerland). Skilled in clinical research, her main research focus are on ischemic heart disease, multimodality imaging in valvular heart disease, cardiac MRI and cardiac implanted electronic devices. She has published several papers on cardiovascular imaging in high rank journals and participated as speakers in national and international meetings.
