Dr Evangelia Nyktari MD, FESC
Dr Eva Nyktari is a Cardiology Consultant working and CMR Unit lead at Onasis Cardiosurgery Center with expertise in cardiovascular MRI covering the entire spectrum of cardiovascular diseases.
She studied medicine at the University of Crete and did her postgraduate training initially in internal medicine (Crete) and then in cardiology in Sweden and University hospital of Crete. After finishing Cardiology training (2009) had worked as a consultant in the university hospital of Crete with a special interest in advanced cardiac imaging. She continued at the Royal Brompton Hospital (6 years) where she received level 3 accreditation from both the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance and the European Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance and worked as a CMR Lead Consultant in Adult Congenital Heart Disease.
Dr Nyktari is highly involved in clinical research in the field of arrhythmias, Congenital and inherited structural heart disease and Cardiovascular MR imaging.
