Dr. Allison Hays is a Cardiologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University. She attended Stanford University for undergradiate, Columbia University for medical school, followed by residency training, and cardiology fellowship training at Johns Hopkins. She leads several NIH-funded CMR research studies and has served on the SCMR board. She has special interest and expertise in CMR vasoreactivity testing and focuses on cardiovascular disease in high risk women. Dr. Hays has also lead clinical trials evaluating novel therapies to reduce inflammation and improve cardiovascular health in people with HIV. She actively participates in mentoring trainees in cardiovascular imaging both for clinical programs and research.
