I graduated from the medical school of Sapienza – University of Rome in 2010. I completed my residency in Radiology at
the “Sapienza” – University of Rome in 2016.
Over the course of my career I have developed a strong background in cardiovascular imaging, with specific training and
expertise in clinical practice and key research areas. I worked in some of the most prestigious cardiovascular centers in the
field of
cardiac CT and MR imaging, such as the Katholiek Universiteit of Leuven under the lead of Prof. Jan Bogaert,
Medical University of South Carolina under the lead of Prof. U. Joseph Schoepf, University College of London-BARTS Heart
Center under the lead of Prof. James Moon and Bambino Gesù-Children Hospital under the lead of Dr. Aurelio Secinaro.
After residency I worked as research fellow and radiologist on Cardiovascular Imaging at Children’s Hospital Bambino Gesù
IRCCS of Rome where I maturated experience in congenital cardiovascular imaging. Subsequently, from July of 2017 to
July 2021, I started to work as radiologist in Centro Cardiologico Monzino. Subsequently I was Director of Cardiac Radiology
at Istituto Auxologico Italiano IRCCS, San Luca Hospital and Assistant Professor of Radiology at University of Milan Bicocca.
Nowadays I am radiologist at ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII in Bergamo taking care about cardiac CT and cardiac MR
programme.
During my academic career, I authored 156 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and five book chapters.
Currently I am Chairperson of ESCR Communication and New Media Committee.
