Actively involved in clinical service with active participation in research and educational activities. This includes core cardiac training for Radiology and Cardiology. Cardiac education is something that I believe is vital to modern imaging and I have been a champion of this in my region. We provide the regional tertiary centre South Yorkshire cardiac service and consist of a multidisciplinary cardiac imaging team (consisting of diverse range of colleagues including clinical and university Radiologists/Cardiologists, technicians and scientists). Northern General Hospital is the Major Regional Trauma Centre for Adult patients in South Yorkshire and contains the Cardiothoracic Unit. Colleagues from the team also support the national Pulmonary Vascular Disease Unit based at Royal Hallamshire Hospital both clinically and academically. We are actively involved in cardiovascular research in several areas and are forerunners of multifaceted augmented intelligence/computational learning.
