Dr Aldostefano Porcari, MD, FISC, graduated from the University ‘Campus Bio-Medico di Roma’ in 2015 and completed his Cardiology residency with Prof. Gianfranco Sinagra at the University of Trieste (Trieste, IT) in 2020, where he has been working as a Clinical and Research Fellow in Cardiology. He has a keen interest in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac amyloidosis and clinical applications of cardiovascular imaging techniques. He is currently completing the PhD program at the National Amyloidosis Centre, University College of London, under the lead of Prof. Julian D. Gillmore and Prof. Marianna Fontana, world leading experts in the field of systemic and cardiac amyloidosis. Between 2022 and 2023, Dr Aldostefan Porcari has been awarded with three prestigious achievements 1) the ESC Young Investigator Award, 2) the Italian Society of Cardiology Award of Excellence for Best CV, and 3) the Melvin Judkins Early Career Award of the American Heart Association (AHA). He has published more than 100 research papers, including book chapters, on top cardiology journals and has edited a book enetiled "Proceedings and predictions in cardiac amyloidosis: unsolved mysteries and future challenges".
