Dr. Balasubramanian is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Michigan. She specializes in non-invasive imaging with expertise in fetal and transthoracic echocardiography and cross sectional imaging. She leads the QI program for non-invasive imaging in the division of Cardiology at Michigan Medicine.Her research interests include ventricular mechanics, outcomes in single ventricles and more recently her work has focused on improving equity, diversity and includsion in medicine.
