Dr Katharine Thomas is a Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, studying the use of parametric (T1- and T2-mapping) in the assessment of cardiac inflammation and whether mapping can be used to detect and monitor changes in the heart due to cardiac diseases. She has an interest in inherited cardiovascular conditions (ICC) and cardiac sarcoidosis. She also has an interest in artificial intelligence (AI) in CMR imaging.
