Julia Geiger, MD

Professor of Radiology

Prof. Dr. med. Julia Geiger is a Senior Staff Radiologist in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging, University Children's Hospital Zurich, Switzerland since 2017 and Professor for Pediatric Radiology at the University Zurich since 2021. She was a Professor of Clinical Radiology, Subspecialisation Paediatric Radiology at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, Germany in 2017 after having completed a research stay in the Dept. of Cardiovascular Imaging at Northwestern University Chicago, Feinberg School of Medicine, USA in 2016. She worked as a Staff Radiologist in Pediatric Radiology, University Hospital Freiburg and University Children's Hospital Zurich after her Residency in Radiology and Fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at the University Hospital Freiburg, Germany.
Her special interests are cardiovascular MRI with focus on 4D flow in CHD, fetal cardiac MRI and thoracic/lung MRI.
She has published more than 70 refereed journal articles and 2 book chapters, and has given more than 25 invited lectures.
